Mornington Crescent:  Cards & Tokens

(The random homepage of Andrew Paul Landells)

Tokens

Primary and secondary BSR tokens, in canonical order.  A slash (/) indicates multiple names for the same token

The primary tokens have the corresponding line in brackets.

Pre-1984 BSR rulesets have the diamond, ruby etc. tokens prefixed as "Translucent"

  • Red (Central Token)
  • Yellow (Circle Token)
  • Green (District Token)

Tertiary tokens

There are far too many tertiary tokens to list, but here are a few of the more common/important ones

  • Carbon
  • Chartreuse
  • Cream
  • Magenta
  • Navy
  • Ochre (Sometimes known as the "vomit" token)
  • Puce

All multi-coloured tokens (Except colourmatic) fall into the tertiary set, as do all anti-tokens.  In fact, any token not listed, is a tertiary token

Quaternary tokens are part of the Husselheim ruleset and are therefore invalid in BSR play.

The Cannon

The Cannon is one of the better defensive tactics in Mornington Crescent. Here is the article I wrote about it for Usenet: The Cannon
